So it’s the last night or weekend of single life before getting hitched. You are trying to make it a time to remember and maybe you are tired of the traditional bachelor party of keg stands and strippers. Ok well maybe not, but if you are looking for fun ideas and a good excuse to feed your adventurous side here are some suggestions:
Sky diving. Why not! Enjoy the carefree days of bachelor hood by jumping out of a plane. There are many places you can go for this thrill. You don’t have to be experienced to sky dive. Most places have tandem jumps for beginners and if you have experience you must meet the sites requirements. The jumps are usually filmed so you have a keepsake of yourself to take home.
Dirt Biking. This is a great way to release that inner child and get dirty. And trust me this can get real dirty. Pack the toy hauler, load up the coolers, clean the bikes and head out to the best place in your area to get dirty. There are many places all over the world you can choose to go and most of these places will rent bikes and have tours. I can say most people who do ride usually have more than one vehicle. So get real dirty without the SEX!
A weekend on the lake. Let’s hope it doesn’t turn out like weekend at Bernie’s, but instead have it be a fun packed yet relaxing weekend.
A very cool way to get on the lake for the weekend is to rent a houseboat. Discover the many places you can go and don’t forget to bring the ski boat along so you are not stuck on the houseboat the whole time. Some of these rentals have many sleeping quarters, jacuzzi, waterslides into the lake, full kitchens and a bar.
Surfs up. Like Reeves and Swayze in the movie Pointe Break rent a beach house and walk out of the house and hit sand. Grab your boogie board or surf board and ride the waves. There will also be other things you can do like rent ATVs or Motorbikes. You can find places along the coasts as well as Mexico. So practice up on the Spanish and Surfer lingo Dude and have a good time.
Ski trip. Hit the slopes in the hunt for some snow bunnies. You will have many choices of places to choose from for this trip. You can spend high, moderate or low depending on where you choose to go. Most places have local mountains and casinos close by for fun in the evenings. Ask if the resorts offer any deals for bachelor parties. Pack the ski and snowboard and rip it up.
Motorcycle tours. This adventure will allow you to cruise in style. So rev those engines and have rubber meet the road and head out on a beautiful ride in the mountains, desert or on the coast. There’s nothing like seeing beautiful scenery when you are riding a motorcycle. There are many tour companies you can choose from as well as motorcycle rentals for all kinds of bikes. But keep in mind that you will need a current motorcycle license. So strap on the leathers and make that Harley roar!
Paintball wars. What better way to release some pre-wedding jitters and stress than by grabbing the guys and heading out to the nearest spot for some paintball. You can rent equipment so you don’t rush and buy anything. Dress with layers, those paintballs can sting a bit. Most of the spots are set up like cities and other themes.
Deep-sea fishing. You already found your fish in the sea, but what better way for some fun male bonding. Charter a boat for you and the fellows, and you’ll be on your way to sea. Depending on where you live, there could be some great catch out there. You never know what you’ll catch; a good one might get you on the deadliest catch TV show.
River rafting. Rolling rapids, meandering rivers and scenic backdrops. You’ll find the absolute escape from the hectic world completely free of wedding distractions. This adventure easily motivates any adventurous soul to get an oar and hop to the nearest raft. Not only is it a great workout, it is an invigorating way to relieve stress and bond with the fellas.
Bungee jumping. Oh yeah! If you think taking the plunge is scary what better way to get that adrenaline rush than with a bungee jump. Fear is good. This activity involves jumping from a tall structure while connected to a large elastic cord. The thrill comes as much from the free falling as from the rebounds. Once you conquer this, walking down the aisle will be a breeze!
So remember as you set out and begin planning the big night or for some a whole weekend, your bachelor party is an excuse to be wild, crazy and to celebrate with your best friends. It does NOT have to include strippers; you can have as much fun with "just the guys”, but don’t forget the blow up dolls!
