The moment has come where enough of the apprehensive questions about your significant other have been eliminated to the point where the anxiety has dissipated. You’ve met and gotten at least some degree of acceptance from her family, and you’ve met her friends. After many hours of going through the trials and tribulations of the unknown, you are ready to pop the big question: Will you marry me?

A fan of any romantic movie (or follower of any sitcom) knows that the proposal is supposed to be THE most romantic moment in you and your woman’s relationship. And for the most part that is the case. While it may not have the drama of a movie’s climax, it is the moment when you tell your girlfriend that you love her above all others and that you are ready to spend the rest of your life with her. With one simple yes she tells the world that the two of you are committed to each other, always. You want the moment to be special, intimate, but mostly, about you and your girl. Your proposal, most likely, won’t resemble a sitcom cliffhanger, but remember that it does not have to be. Because you are not trying to impress any viewers, only the one you are proposing too.
